Roy Runds

Born in Perth, Western Australia, in 1944, he received a BA from the University of Western Australia. He settled in 1972, in Israel where hi main avocation is as a poet. He also writes limericks. Since 1984, he has been a member of the Voices Israel Group of Poets in English, and co-editor of their annual magazine, VOICES ISRAEL from 1992 to 2006. Two of his books of poetry are in print: SUNSPOTS AND SUNBEAMS (Tel Aviv, 1996) and LAVA AND LAVENDER (Tel Aviv, 2005). His poems have been published in Israel, America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and the United Kingdom. Semi-retired, he is a freelance journalist, editor and proofreader. His interests are reading, music, literature, and the company of good friends.
